Continuing in its tradition of bringing through debut releases from Grime producers such as Rude Kid and Royal T, No Hats No Hoods proudly presents new comer Crackatoa's Strange Encounters EP

Crackatoa is an up and coming producer from Nottingham, who cites early Prodigy releases, Scientist, Tubby, Drum & Bass, G-Funk rap and even Computer game music effects among his many influences.

As the Indonesian Krakatoa volcano eruption is said to be the largest sound ever produced, Crackatoa sets out to live up to his namesake with his powerful debut release on No Hats No Hoods Records, Strange Encounters EP. Having first been introduced to music production in 2004, Crackatoa began seriously perfecting his craft in 2008.

The lead track 'Strange Encounter' is a futuristict, space age girme affair, Two Tone picks up the pace venturing into drum and bass tempo and dropping into a darker 2nd drop. Bronze is a more subtle and laid back where Crackatoa demonstrates the intricacies of his production whioh first caught our ear. The strings of 'Clcck Tower' bring the EP to a close.
